tips on applying mineral foundation
applying mineral foundation is really easy when you know how! start off with freshly mosturised skin, as you would with any foundation; just give it a minute or two to settle into the skin.
there's two important things to bear in mind; firstly a good quality kabuki brush will really help you get a natural, flawless finish. secondly, to apply mineral foundation, you need to follow the 4 steps:
1. tip a small (tiny even) amount of mineral foundation into the lid of the sifter jar
2. swirl your kabuki brush around the lid, picking up the mineral foundation on the bristles
3. tap your kabuki brush on the side of the lid (bristles pointing upwards), to remove any loose mineral foundation, and to work it into the bristles
4. buff your kabuki brush over your face in a circular motion. for best results, start on your cheeks or jawline; resist the temptation to plonk your brush on your forehead, between your eyes.
and that's it! just repeat these steps until you have a level of coverage that suits you.
